Bike Fitting
Richard Baxter is a highly experienced bike fitter and coach, recently relocated to Queensland from Johannesburg. With over 15 years of expertise in racing, riding, and bike fitting across all disciplines, Richard combines a deep understanding of bike mechanics with a passion for helping cyclists optimize performance and comfort.
His extensive experience in the cycling world, both on and off the bike, makes him a trusted resource for riders of all levels looking to improve their technique, positioning, and overall riding experience.
- Interview: Discussion regarding your riding goals, history, current bike setup, and any areas of discomfort.
- Assessment: Your current riding position is assessed on the bike using motion capture technology as well as saddle pressure mapping to identify any areas of concern.
- Adjustments: Richard will adjust the bike's contact points with your body, such as your feet, hands, and pelvis. This may include adjusting the cleat position, saddle height, fore/aft position, and tilt, as well as the stem length and height, handlebar width, and brake lever adjustments.
- Report: A detailed measurement chart will be provided with recommendations for equipment purchases and technique adjustments. Fitting time will take approximately 1-2hrs and is recommended for road bikers, mountain bikers, gravel bikers and triathletes.

Byron
With over 14 years of passion for cycling, I was fortunate enough to turn that passion into a career in February of 2019. Before entering the cycling industry, I worked as a sales technician in the industrial coating sector, but my love for bikes eventually led me to pursue a new path.
Having managed multiple stores in Sydney and Brisbane with a reputable cycling franchise, I gained invaluable experience on the tools and sales floor which has laid the foundation for delivering top-notch service to the cycling community. I'm driven by the joy that cycling brings to people and the connections I make with them.
I’m a firm believer of the n+1 rule with regards to owning bikes so I’ve got a bike suitable to most riding occasions however mountain biking was where my love for the sport started. I’ve always had a burning desire to create a business that better serves my community and builds confidence in riders.
Now through our workshop, I want to create a space where all riders can bring their bikes and know with confidence that they are getting the best possible service from mechanical to customer service. My goal is to offer high-quality, reliable workmanship
treating their bikes with the same care and dedication that I
give to my own.
Paul
As co-owner and mechanic of a bicycle workshop, I bring a unique blend of precision and passion to every bike we work on. With a background as an airline pilot and a trade as an electrician, I have developed a strong attention to detail and a love for problem-solving. These skills have translated perfectly into the world of bicycle mechanics.
My journey into cycling began in 2019, initially as a way to recover from a running injury, but it quickly evolved into a deep passion for the sport. I became fascinated by the intricacies of the relationship between rider and machine and soon found myself diving into the mechanics of bicycles. With my technical background, I naturally began maintaining and repairing my own bikes, as well as helping out friends with theirs.
I am an avid cyclist, enjoying both mountain biking and road cycling, and I actively participate in races across both disciplines. Now, as part of a workshop partnership, I aim to give back to the cycling community that has brought me so much joy. Together, we provide high-quality, reliable workmanship, treating each customer’s bike with the same care and dedication we give to our own.
